A little pricey. The food is pretty authentic.

Bann seems to have slid badly in quality in the past year - the meat in particular seems greasier, and of a lower grade than previously served. Still, they go all-out for delivery, providing salad and an assortment of kimchee much as they would in-restaurant.

Never order kalbi, boneless short ribs. For what it is, such a rip off. worse than food they serve on air planes

25 mins late on delivery (order placed an hour before actual delivery time). Very messy packaging, sauce spilled. I ordered a veggies tofu soup, no veggies came in my order. Not recommend for others to try this restaurant.

The soon doo boo was not good. delivery took much longer than stated.

The food quality was really quite poor. The kimchi bokumbap was pretty tasteless and the quality of the pork meat in the jae yook kimchi bokum was bad and it was tough and chewy (pork belly is supposed to be incredibly tender). The side dishes were ok - and the part of the meal I like the most. I won't order from this restaurant again. On the positive, SeamlessWeb's delivery was quite quick so I would definitely use the service again.

I live and work in the area and have always been bummed there aren't any korean places in the neighborhood who deliver. I'm so glad that Bann does and they have so many great options!! Lunch specials are very very good value, if you order any entree you get rice, salad, kimchi & another type pickled vegetable for about $12. The soups are perfect for this cold weather and all their barbeques, while on the pricier side for hell's kithcen, is such good quality and worth the splurge. Definite must try...

I normally don't write reviews -- this is probably my first review. This is what they mean by "progressive Korean food" --- American food + kimchi. I was expected some authentic Korean food, but I was totally disappointed. The price is definitely on the higher end, and I got ribs with barbeque sauce and corn. The salad that came with it was very little, and the side dishes were just a tiny bit of kimchi and radish. The main dish does not taste Korean at all! This is my second time ordering from there. The first time my order got canceled because they said the tips were too little. Who in the world runs after you to ask for cash tips. I'm from California, where there are tons of GREAT korean restaurant that are less expensive and provide better service. I really wish that there are better substitutes for Bann for the Korean food lovers!

$15 for noodle soup with 3 tissue paper thin slices of beef. NOT worth it!

Awesome food. Nice customer relations. Dude got lost getting my food to me so it took a while to get to. But manager called me to apologized and comped food so that I would be happy to order from them again. I appreciated the manager's concern (sh*t happens so it's all in how you address things that count) and the food was awesome so I wouldn't hesitate to order there again.

Dear Bann, Why can't I order chicken "wings only" from your menu, the same wings you offer but only in combination with drumsticks, the same wings you offer on your Bann Next Door menu? There should be some way that I can order just wings as part of a Bann order. Especially when you raise your minimum order to $20. Other restaurants, with higher ratings, manage to be flexible about order options and menu options. You are losing customers by being so inflexible and restrictive for no good reason.

I asked for Beef dumplings and they gave me Shrmp I could have died. Also, 7 tiny dumplings for 10 dollars?? You have got to be kidding me. The soup was terrible too and thats $15?? Honestly go get Korean Food ANY where else. Maybe their main thing is Chicken? I dont even want to try, these greedy people will never get another order from me.

Roast pork was delicious but the dumpling soup was gross - bad texture of dumplings (like they were sitting in the soup all day). The fried chicken was exactly like cheap Chinese food fried chicken. Way too expensive for what you get.

Below average in taste, well above average priced Korean food but only place that delivers near my hood so I have no choice.

Very nice staff, quick, called to confirm. Unfortunately, the food was awful. So expensive for very bland bul gogi!

Some of the food is pricey for what it is (e.g. $15 for fried rice). Some of the food does not taste as authentically Korean as you would expect. The fried rice tastes like Chinese fried rice and doesn't have the variety of additional ingredients that Korean fried rice would have. The spicy pork was very dry. The japchae is good though. And the delivery service is timely enough. Maybe the food is better in the restaurant. Overall, the place is just ok if you're REALLY craving Korean food in this area.

Very little panchan or condiments accompany the food

I tried it twice, and it was AWFUL for delivery. Save Bann for a dining in experience. I love going there, but I will never order from Bann again on seamless. The simmered black cod sank. There is nothing worse than ordering, getting delivery, and then having to run across the street for a slice. What a waste of time, money, and food.

Incredibly inconsiderate service. Sent me the wrong dish and refused to fix it.

This is the worst korean food i have ever tasted. I dont think the chef has actually even tried korean food, it is so way off the mark. The food is way way over priced. The same price dish is half the price on 32nd street koreatown and 4x the same price of the same dish in korea. The service was horrible. The food took 45minutes to get here. The delivery guy had a horrible attitude. Horrible horrible customer service. Please do not order from here. I do not usually write bad reviews but I felt I had to warn everybody.

Best Korean take-out in this area

The ingredients are fresh and high-quality, and some of the offerings are imaginative. Unfortunately, I find the food disappointingly flavorless. It's not so much that the heat is toned down for a non-Korean palate--it's that the food is just bland, lacking the bold, pungent flavors that characterize Korean cooking.
